What is a team?

All of us have been on some kind of team/cast/ensemble: activities, academic, community, church, or work. What in your experience, makes the good ones terrific and the bad ones miserable?

To me team is just another word for family, in order to function as a team we must all get along. Sure there will be minor disputes and arguments thats an innevitability. Members of a team have to be closely knitted, no person left behind. If someone is slacking in practice get on them about it. As duncanson always says we win as a team and lose as a team, He also says win with pride and lose with dignity so if you take a hard loss shake the opponents hand and keep your composure in that gym, If you need to blow off some steam do it in the lockeroom in private. It can make our whole entire team look bad. Kashi Halma

A team is a group of people who work together to achieve common goals. We need to stand together to overcome any trials we are faced with, we also need to help each other accomplish our individual and team goals. If we work together and stand united as a team we will be able to accomplish any and all of our goals.

a team is a group of people working toward a common goal. in a team we should be close enough to know each others strengths and weaknesses wether it is on the mat or in school, and we should help our "family members" in their struggles.

i think a team is a group of guys that all do the same thing. But they do it not only for themselves but also for each other. Their goals include making themselves better and also doing everything they can to make the team as a whole better. Basically everyone needs to care enough to leave an impact.

A good team has guys with beards, defined chins, and small ankles. They usually do decent on the mat. But a terrific team is a group of guys that works their butts off in practice and behind closed doors. They know they need to work to become great. A bad team is a group of guys that become satisfied with who they are. They don't stride to become better.

To me a real team is a group of people aspiring to do something together that they can not do alone. Whether that is on the mat, on the field, in the classroom, or something else entirely; there are certain elements that are required. There must be a common goal, somethin that all involved want. There must be a constant effort. There must be a solid team chemistry. And there must be leadership from within the team.

A team can be defined as "a group of people working together to achieve a common goal" but there is more than this dictionary definiton behind a wrestling team. Like stated above, a wrestling team, in particular, is a family of deticated, strong, hard working individuals. We pick each other up when we are down, encourage each other to do our best every day, and push each other to our limit to make every member of the team as good as they can be.
